Leicester Community Concert Band

Leicester Community Concert Band is one of the largest amateur wind ensembles in Leicestershire. Established in 2007 and originally called ‘2nd Wind,’ the band was formed to encourage lapsed musicians to take up their instruments again. The ensemble quickly grew from 15 to over 60 musicians, and in 2013, it became an independent organisation and was renamed ‘Leicester Community Concert Band.’
